The law firm was originally formed in 2001 as Saladino & Hartill, LLP, and has evolved into its present state as a solo practice that is well-known for its professionalism, experience and commitment to fighting for results that are in clients’ best interests.

An Attorney With Diverse Legal Experience

Mary C. Hartill brings unique experience to the practice that enables the firm to meet the needs of a diverse population. Ms. Hartill earned a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law. Upon graduation, she worked as an assistant district attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, where she prosecuted over 20 trials ranging from DWI to sexual abuse.

Later in her career, she worked as deputy town attorney and special prosecutor for the town of Riverhead. During her time at the town attorney’s office, Ms. Hartill was responsible for the enforcement of the Riverhead town code and for handling land preservation and purchase of open space and the transfer of development rights within the town of Riverhead. Prior to practicing as an attorney, Ms. Hartill was an educator. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. John’s University and a master’s degree from Queens College.
